FATRO "WILDLIFE" COLLECTION

The griffon vulture is a vulture of enormous size which feeds exclusively on carion. It nests on rocky crags, laying a single egg which both parents sit on for approximately 52 days. Seriously threatened, it is present in the Mediterranean basin from Spain to Turkey: in Italy, the species is extinct everywhere except in Sardinia.
