In a few years FATRO products were increasingly appreciated, and in 1963 the first facility was built in Ozzano dell’Emilia (BO).
Since then great steps have been taken and that small laboratory has become a Pharmaceutical Group that includes several companies operating exclusively in the veterinary field.
The production plants in Ozzano Emilia (BO) cover an area of over 105,000 m2 where medicines for all animal species and vaccines for cattle, swine, sheep-goats, rabbits, and fish are developed and produced.
Avian vaccines are produced at the Maclodio (BS) plant, which occupies an area of 11,500 m2.
FATRO exports its products to over 90 countries and has its own branches in Spain, Greece, Poland, the Czech Republic, Argentina, Uruguay, India, and recently Turkey.
As FATRO approaches its 80th anniversary since its founding, thanks to the collaboration of capable managers and the professionalism of over 950 employees worldwide, the FATRO Group remains the only Italian-capital entity of international size in this sector.
