Chamaeleo calyptratus
FATRO "WILDLIFE" COLLECTION
The chameleon is chiefly known for its ability to change colour in response to the environment, to light, to temperature and to its emotional state. It is found in all African countries, in southern Europe and in the southern countries of Asia. Thanks to its peculiar characteristics, it has always attracted people's attention and this, partly due to the indiscriminate removal of animals from their habitat, has led all species to be included in the list of animals protected by the Washington Convention.
