In the world 5 species of rhinoceros exist, 2 of these living in Africa: the black rhinoceros and the white rhinoceros. The former differs in its smaller size and its pointed mouth, which permits it to reach the lowest leaves. Both possess two horns, for which they are savagely hunted, to the point of being in serious danger of extinction.
