FATRO "WILDLIFE" COLLECTION
In fairy tales, the owl is often portrayed as the personification of wisdom and learning. It is actually a very capable nocturnal predator, with a wingspan which can almost reach 2 metres, able to crush pray, even of considerable size, with just the power of its claws. Hunted for centuries, over the last few years this bird of prey has become the victim of intense persecution, as it is considered harmful to species of interest to hunters. It is menaced by the placing of large numbers of suspended cables into which it can collide during its nocturnal hunting flights.
