ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION
FATRO has adopted an Environmental Management System in its plants, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard.
COGENERATION PLANT
FATRO has installed a cogeneration plant in its Ozzano Emilia (Bologna) plant, which permits thermal energy, a by-product of electrical energy production, to be used for plant purposes. This system enables the energy demands of the plant to be met entirely, significantly reducing the production of greenhouse gases caused by the use of fossil fuels in the manufacturing processes.PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT
The photovoltaic systems installed at the FATRO plants produce an annual saving of 127 tons of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere, equivalent to 56 tons of petroleum not consumed.MINIMUM PLASTIC
The FATRO Group plans to progressively reduce the plastics used (adoption of the Bag-in-box packaging).RECYCLED OR CERTIFIED PAPER
The commitment of the FATRO Group with regard to the environment takes concrete form in the “Trees from paper” project, which contemplates the use of 100% recycled or certified paper for the packaging of its products.
